After the (partial) completion of our release, (partial since there was one part that did not get implemented successfully), our team headed to Taal... Despite the lack of enough sleep, the team was still excited to have the out-of-town getaway. We left the office at around 8am. We had a quick stop at Jollibee for breakfast, and then slept all the way to tagaytay.
We had a 20-min boat ride to the island where the Taal Volcano is located. Amana, An and I were seated at the back part of the boat. I initially thought that we will be walking/trekking on rocks, so I decided to just wear my trekking slippers. Wrong decision, should have worn my rubber shoes. :( We had to walk together with horses, and I never thought I had such fear.. not until I got up-close-and-personal with the horses. I got afraid that they will stomp on my feet or kick me... On our way up, the rest of the group(Jay, Stephan, Blue, Redge and An) were ahead of us... Anna, Amana and I had a few stops... most of the time to drink and catch our breath... Despite the heat of the sun, dust and being a bit out of shape (not enough exercise & sleep), it was all worth it when we reached the top. We then went to Leslie's for a late lunch, and had their famous "Bulalo". We had a pictorial :) and later went back to Manila
