I seldom get the chance to talk to my friends and keep them up-to-date with what's going on with my life...
well, this is it. My online journal. Yah, another personal blog, just exactly what the world needs now. Let's be realistic, it's cheaper than overseas calls. Less tiring than novel-like emails.
About Me

It's the time of the year - while people are busy with shopping, putting up their christmas decors, wrapping gifts - I am busy with work and our upcoming release. But I won't bore you with work stuff, this entry is about our project Xmas party. I barely noticed that it's almost Christmas already - my only reminder that it is coming up (aside from the visual reminders along Gilmore St. and Greenhills - my usual route going home from work) is the dance practices we've been having. Yes, DANCE PRACTICE! I don't know who came up with the idea - but someone thought of having the Team Leads and Management team members do a dance number as an intermission for the party. I am one of the crazy people who signed up. Why not?! It's my last Christmas party in the project and in the firm. Practices were held every evening Tuesdays and Thursdays, usually from 7 - 9pm. Most of the time the group is not complete due to conflicts with meetings (no surprise).
My nerves were acting up a bit earlier - aside from the fact that the last time I performed for an audience was more than 7yrs ago (as part of the New Hires Presentation for the firm), I am feeling a 'bit' pressured as the other performers at the back (including my Sr. Manager) would keep on reminding me that I should NOT miss a dance step as their performance depends on me (thanks guys!) hehehe.
Anyway, I survived the dance number. It went well and seems like I perform well with pressure. I did not miss a single step, and managed to smile thru the presentation. Whew! Dimples got it on video, and I still need to get a copy. (Jp has already seen the video though in Dimples' cam, and of course being my very own critic - he always had his comments on how I could have done better hahaha).
