Rina and I have just gone through an Amazing-Race-like-trip-to-Beijing. We left Shanghai last Thursday (Nov 11) and took the train (soft-sleeper) to Beijing. We were already in the train station at 7pm. The train was really nice. We didn't have a hard time sleeping. If I am not mistaken, I think I slept for more than 10hours in the train (that's the longest sleep time I had here in Shanghai).
Nov 12, 6:30am. . . Time to rise and shine!!! I am already in Beijing. It was cold outside. . the weather was fine. It was a good day to go around Beijing. Rina and I then went to the Chongwenmen hotel to get ready for our Beijing Day 1 adventure. (Special thanks to Neo who helped us book our tickets and hotel resevations!).

of course our trip to Beijing will not be complete if Rina and I didn't go shopping. . . we did go shopping. Every night.. for all 3 days we were in Beijing! :) |
