I seldom get the chance to talk to my friends and keep them up-to-date with what's going on with my life...
well, this is it. My online journal. Yah, another personal blog, just exactly what the world needs now. Let's be realistic, it's cheaper than overseas calls. Less tiring than novel-like emails.
About Me
Name: celgee Home: Philippines About Me: just read through my entries and you'll get to know me :) See my complete profile
I went to my HS alma mater today. It wasn't planned. I was supposed to meet my bf today and accompany him to Valenzuela, as he needs to submit something to their prof in Fatima. Somewhere in between listening to my iPod and singing along with the songs, my bf told me that we were going to Siena. Why? Because we need to get her sister's report card.
And so, we went to Siena. There were a lot of students... "Do they now have classes on Saturdays as well?", I asked myself. Nope, they don't... the big banner replied to me. It's Family Day!
Seeing my school again after so many years...I feel so reminiscent of my GS & HS days. Running in the lower quadrangle, playing hide & seek with my classmates. I even saw their Drum & Lyre club - haaayyy... How I miss those days when all I need to worry about is practicing the new piece we will be playing for the Field Demonstation. :) I really miss those days. I can't remember exactly when I last visited Siena, I am pretty sure that was sometime during my 1st year in college. Whoa! It's been almosyt 9 years already.
My teachers from HS were still there - I saw Ms. Tulaylay (my Filipino teacher in 3rd yr, whom I adored so much because the daily presentations we did for our class made me hone my skills in script writing, acting and directing haha - (yes, I did not pursue neither of those skills that I mentioned hehehe). I also saw Sir Rollon, my Chem teacher. He hasn't changed a bit. He still looks like Tom Hanks. :) Mrs. Paliza was also there. Just seeing her made me remember all the jokes our barkada had about her and the grammatical errors she made in our class (She was our 4th yr. English teacher by the way... and we learned a lot from her by identifying what was wrong in her sentence or pronunciation). I also saw Mrs. Jove (our 2nd yr adviser and T.H.E. teacher) and Ms. Grafilo (I think she has already retired and was just there to visit the other teachers). Ms. Grafilo was the moderator of our club (COMFES) and my 1st yr Filipino teacher. I wanted to see the other teachers, but we didn't stay too long as we need to go to Valenzuela.
I think I need to go back again... Just to see and chat with my teachers. The people who have helped me become who I am right now. Maybe I can sit in the white table where our barkada used to sit and see if our names are still there. He-he. :)
O my gosh, Ms. Tulaylay, Mrs. Jove and Ms. Grafilo, they were my teachers while I was there in Siena College too. They're still around? Good on them?
