I seldom get the chance to talk to my friends and keep them up-to-date with what's going on with my life...
well, this is it. My online journal. Yah, another personal blog, just exactly what the world needs now. Let's be realistic, it's cheaper than overseas calls. Less tiring than novel-like emails.
About Me
Name: celgee Home: Philippines About Me: just read through my entries and you'll get to know me :) See my complete profile
Today is my cousin's wedding. Her dad and my dad are brothers. I have been a witness to her kilig moments & heartaches, and today she is finally tying the knot.
6pm Manila Cathedral Reception: Illustrado, Intramuros Jp, my mom, my dad and I left home and went to Manila Diamond Hotel at 2pm. I am the maid of honor. I went there for my hair styling & make-up and to help Marie with the prep. My mom is also acting as one of the principal sponsors, since some weren't able to make it, so she also had her make-up & hair done.
Jp was actually teasing me while the make-up was being put on that I look like a geisha. Maybe because of the layer of foundation being put on. He-he. :)
How do I look?
I am a person who just loves being in pictures...and of course, I did ask my honey to take pictures of the wedding and me. :)
I got a bit tense before walking down the aisle. Why? Because I am tasked to give away all the flowers and secondary-sponsor-stuff (candle, veil, cord) and guess what, the 'candle' couple were late. It was already 6pm, and the church assistant was already doing the rollcall. Grabe, and when they arrived, ang bagal pa ha. It's like as if no one was waiting for them. Anyway, syempre despite of all the tension (and thinking of what I will say in my speech), kailangan all smiles pa rin.
Just like any other wedding, we had the tossing of the bouquet. Luckily, I was in the washroom when that happened. Hehehe... (My mom asked me to go with her to the washroom, and when I heard that my cousin was already calling out for all single females, I decided to just watch them from the washroom, hehehe. After that they had the garter toss. Jp wasn't able to escape the garter toss. No, he did not get the garter.
While the others were busy eating dessert or chatting, we were also busy taking pictures. :)
