I seldom get the chance to talk to my friends and keep them up-to-date with what's going on with my life...
well, this is it. My online journal. Yah, another personal blog, just exactly what the world needs now. Let's be realistic, it's cheaper than overseas calls. Less tiring than novel-like emails.

Preparing for trips outside the country is always a challenge. Reviewing what I have in my luggage over and over again, hoping that I did not forget anything.Plus, there is always this voice in your head (actually, it's my mom, dad and tita's voice) constantly reminding you to eat on time, sleep well, take care of your things, etc. And again, even if it's just a 3-week stint in Germany, my parents and Jp make me feel that I'd be gone for years. (It's quite hard to get used to the feeling of being away from the people you love -- but I guess I'd have to be prepared for that sooner or later.)
After 16hrs, I have finally arrived in Frankfurt. Compared to my last trip, I am now staying in an apartment - makes me wish I know how to cook real food, not that the eggs and bacon I have aren't real, but it would have been better if I can do something fancy. The apartment is really nice, looks a bit like the apartment I had before in Shanghai, though this one is smaller compared to the one in China (because I had a living room, and 2 TVs then), but I don't really need such a big room since I am on my own. Curious about how it looks? It's a good thing they have provided me with a companion. Meet my new friend - Rubber ducky. I still have to think of a name for him.
